The Vibes/"You don't belong in this century, do you?"
The only way I can explain the vibes, is through describing a particular episode of the Brady Bunch. In this episode
'Never Too Young'
from Season 5 the Brady family are going to a 'Roaring Twenties' Party. There is an intense scene where they dance the Charleston dressed immaculately in 1920s clothing in their painfully 1970s living room. Watching this in 2011 evoked some seriously weird time displacement complexes that I already suffer from. I like the idea of time periods existing in two places at once, or an ambiguity/uncertainty about their authenticity.
